Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at NFI Massachusetts Inc. in Peabody, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality meals for our residents.

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals and snacks, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking meals and snacks for up to 50 residents
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including sanitation and hygiene of facilities, equipment, and materials
• Purchasing food and maintaining inventory control within a designated budget
• Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth program operations

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one to three years of full-time commercial cooking experience in a restaurant, hospital, or comparable setting
• ServSafe certification preferred or ability to pass test within three months
