Perioperative Nursing Manager

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Position

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Perioperative Nursing Manager to join our team at NavitsPartners. As a key leader in our surgical services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the surgical services department, including supervising and supporting a team of operating room nurses and surgical staff.
  • Developing and managing schedules, allocating resources, and monitoring staff performance to optimize operating room efficiency.
  • Coordinating surgical schedules, equipment availability, and staffing to ensure timely and smooth surgical procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track operating room performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Providing education and training to operating room staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in perioperative nursing or surgical services, with prior leadership or management experience highly desirable.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred or must be eligible to obtain; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
