Role Overview:

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and educational needs upon admission and continuously thereafter.
  • Communicate significant changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate interdisciplinary team (IDT) members.
  • Document all assessments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, residents, families, and other IDT members.
  • Implement nursing interventions, including medication administration and treatments, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to changes in residents' conditions and notify physicians as necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism during crisis situations, such as family concerns or staff conflicts.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of care plans and address any issues using the QAPI process.
  • Assist with daily living activities and respond to resident needs promptly.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through training and self-study.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program resulting in RN licensure.
  • Current RN license in the applicable state.
  • CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Preferred experience in long-term care settings.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Physical capability to perform nursing duties, including lifting and transferring patients.
  • Proficient manual dexterity and visual acuity for patient care tasks.
