Job Title: Financial Advisor

At Global Credit Union, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for developing new business and servicing existing accounts in alignment with our goals and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with existing and prospective clients to promote financial planning and investment services.
  • Conduct educational seminars and workshops to educate clients on financial planning and investment strategies.
  • Present client financial plans and investment proposals in a professional manner.
  • Collect all required documentation, deposits, premiums, etc. in a timely and complete manner per established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with program partners to service accounts, assist with inquiries and information requests, and resolve any issues relating to products and services.
  • Track sales, marketing, and referrals to ensure effective business development.
  • Provide referrals for other Global Credit Union services as appropriate.
  • Participate in the credit union's business development activities, seeking and recommending new opportunities.
  • Meet production goals and adhere to organizational and industry guidelines, policy, procedure, compliance, licensing, and training requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency with organization and program partner systems.
  • Perform service calls and special projects as warranted.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Series 7, 63, and/or 65/66 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses. LUTCF, CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred.
  • Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable.
  • Experience/Skills: Three years of financial services sales experience. Ability to create and deliver effective messages scaled to the appropriate audience. Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Tenure: Not Applicable.
Compensation:

Financial Advisor (Category 19)

Salary Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,500 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable, and will fall within the range provided above. This position is eligible for performance-based commission.

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
