Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and confirm medication orders for precision and suitability.
- Prepare and distribute medications while adhering to established protocols and regulations.
- Offer drug-related information and guidance to healthcare providers and patients.
- Assess patient medication regimens, including reviewing medical records and laboratory findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient treatment strategies.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal laws, along with institutional policies.
- Engage in clinical discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as required.
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- Minimum of one year experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Experience in non-sterile compounding is advantageous but not mandatory (training available).
