Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide essential pharmaceutical services within a healthcare environment. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional medication management and patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and confirm medication orders for precision and suitability.
  • Prepare and distribute medications while adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Offer drug-related information and guidance to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Assess patient medication regimens, including reviewing medical records and laboratory findings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient treatment strategies.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal laws, along with institutional policies.
  • Engage in clinical discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as required.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Valid state pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Experience in non-sterile compounding is advantageous but not mandatory (training available).
