About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment.
  • Take into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • 2 years OBGYN sonography experience.
