About Us

Methodist Medical Center has been providing exceptional care to the community for many years, with over 30 specialties and a reputation for innovative treatments and technologies. Our hospital features 283 licensed beds, 25 ICU beds, 12 intermediate care beds, 38 emergency suites, and 2 cath labs, among other amenities.

The Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As an RN on our Heart/Lung/Vascular unit, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to adult patients experiencing respiratory healthcare concerns. You will be responsible for assessing and identifying patient physiological and psycho-social problems and needs, developing individualized plans of nursing care, and ensuring that care is consistent with medical plans and current standards of care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, or temporary permit to practice
  • Certification in life support programs specific to unit worked (CPR, ACLS, NALS, BLS)

You will also have previous experience in department specialty, preferably in intensive care nursing.
