Job Title: Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at Amcor Rigid Packaging. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for directing the quality assurance program for our plant, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the quality assurance program for the plant, including supervising quality control leads and technicians.
  • Implement, maintain, and modify the plant's quality management system to improve business operating systems and meet customer and best practice audit requirements.
  • Lead/assist production and warehouse leadership with corrective action of quality-related problems at the plant and/or customer location.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • Five years related experience in a quality assurance leadership role in a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience in blow molding manufacturing and product safety.
  • Knowledge of SPC, IT systems, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience with ISO 9000/QS 9000 quality systems.
