Job Title: Residential Aide

Housing Works is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Aide to join our team. As a Residential Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce program policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Build rapport with clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully.
  • De-escalate tense situations and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Perform light custodial work, including cleaning and removing trash.
  • Communicate with clinical staff on resident behavior and care.
  • Enforce the Residential Code of Conduct and House Rules.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of work experience.
  • Ability to work with the homeless migrant population.
  • Dependable and flexible with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
