As a Cardiovascular Care Physician with Baylor Scott & White Health, you will play a pivotal role in our advanced cardiac imaging program, providing expertise in the field of cardiac CT and MRI. This position offers a competitive guaranteed salary, with an estimated $450,000 annual income, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development through mentorship and collaboration with renowned experts.

The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Cardiology and have completed a dedicated one-year training in advanced cardiac imaging (Level 3 CT and MRI training). Experience in structural Echo and/or Nuclear imaging is welcome but not mandatory. The specialist will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary structural heart team, actively participating in the valve clinic and heart team meetings, and contributing to research projects and teaching fellows.

We are seeking a skilled physician to join our team at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Plano, which is renowned for its exceptional cardiac care and surgeries. Our comprehensive range of services includes state-of-the-art procedures such as robotic cardiac valve surgeries, percutaneous structural cardiac interventions, mechanical cardiac support, and ventricular assist device implantation. Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, take patient histories, request diagnostic tests, make diagnoses, prescribe treatment, administer vaccinations, perform follow-up examinations, and educate patients in disease prevention and health maintenance.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, and other specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the valve clinic and heart team meetings, actively contributing to decision-making around tests, diagnoses, and treatment options for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
