Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Developing comprehensive estimates for miscellaneous and structural steel projects.
- Measuring materials related to miscellaneous and structural steel.
- Compiling a detailed inventory of materials required for each project.
- Possessing 3-5 years of experience in structural, ornamental, and miscellaneous metal projects.
- Generating cost estimations for complete projects.
- Reviewing cost estimates prepared by other team members.
- Creating accurate labor and material cost estimates.
- Understanding of stairs and railings.
- Familiarity with metal connections and specific welding requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exhibiting strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a fast-paced, experienced team.
- Ability to interpret specifications, sketches, and blueprints, including structural, miscellaneous steel, and architectural drawings.
Wright Fabrication and Design LLC seeks a motivated individual with fabrication experience to ensure precise labor estimates. A Bachelor’s degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
