We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. As a key member of our construction services team, you will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential homes, ensuring they are move-in ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paint interior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors, in all rooms and areas of residential homes.
- Provide exterior painting services on all surfaces exposed to the weather, including patio walls, exterior doors, and ceilings.
- Mask and cover adjacent surfaces to protect them from paint and debris.
- Prepare existing drywall for painting by repairing and smoothing out surfaces.
- Mix, apply, and clean up paints, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Operate ladders and scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Support multiple residential sites within military installations, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with other service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times, adhering to PPE requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a painter apprenticeship program or 1+ year of experience in the painting trade, working under a journey-level painter.
- Knowledge of paints, including urethanes, epoxies, and enamels, as well as hazardous materials handling.
- Punchlist experience and ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a willingness to follow safety guidelines and adapt to changing project requirements.
