Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an essential member of our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing sound nursing judgment and adhering to established healthcare standards and procedures. As an integral part of our team, the LPN engages with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and treatment, including conducting examinations, diagnostic and treatment procedures, and administering medications.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and treatments, promoting effective communication and understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with physician office procedures and medical terminology, maintaining accuracy and precision in all interactions.
  • Maintain patient safety by adhering to common safety precautions, minimizing risks and ensuring a secure environment.
  • React calmly and effectively in emergency situations, providing prompt and professional assistance as needed.
  • Identify and analyze problems, prioritize tasks, make quick decisions, and recommend effective solutions, demonstrating strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Administer medications and treatments utilizing appropriate medical equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of patient care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, possessing a solid foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • Active Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • BLS certification, indicating a proficiency in life-saving techniques and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of nursing experience, showcasing a dedication to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for the field.
  • Knowledge of practical nursing principles, including the effects of medications and patient education practices, enhancing overall patient outcomes.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines, facilitating accurate and efficient documentation and billing processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
Certifications:
  • Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
