Job Opportunity

Hospice of the North Coast is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide skilled nursing and palliative care to patients and their families during end-of-life transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients, including pain management and symptom control.
  • Work cooperatively with the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide teaching and education to patients, families, and caregivers on disease management, care techniques, and health measures.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing.
  • Current CA license.
  • At least one year experience as an LVN/LPN.
  • Demonstrated competency in performance of skilled nursing functions.
  • Ability to work with dying patients and their families.
