Job Title: Shift Leader

A Shift Leader is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facility. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
  • Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Assign tasks and duties to team members based on their skills and abilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Manage employee requests and conduct to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Train new and current team members on tasks and procedures to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs.
  • Handle customer issues and manage conflicts to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Adhere to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage club cleanliness and maintenance to ensure all aspects of the club are in like-new condition.
  • Drive sales and member experience metrics such as BCM%, EFT growth, upgrades to memberships, saving cancels, avoid accounts going into RFC, merchandise sales, use of trainers, social reviews, NPS surveys, and BER results.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree in business administration or management is preferred.
  • Experience working as a team member in the industry or with our PF team is required.
  • Internal promotions require at least 3 months of employment with us and zero performance counseling records for the past 6 months.
  • Shift Leaders must be available to work at least 24 hours per week with weekend availability.

  • Comfortable with workplace technology like Billing, contracts, POS functions, reporting, registers, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Basic math skills.

Salary: Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements: This role is subject to successful completion of a background check, after offer acceptance. All background screens will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
