Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at Minot Public Schools. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of our students and working closely with instructors to provide the necessary learning supports.

• Work with school personnel to identify students at-risk and provide targeted support
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide instruction and accommodations to students
• Monitor and track student progress in all classes and assist with online learning platforms
• Provide direct services to students individually and in small group settings, including re-teaching, tutoring, and goal setting
• Support students taking credit recovery courses and assist with development of career plans

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year of experience working with children or Paraprofessional certification from North Dakota Department of Public Instruction
• Ability to work effectively in a classroom and school facility environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
