Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

MRH Rehab is a rural clinic that provides a unique opportunity to treat a variety of conditions, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, orthopedics, post-op, sports medicine, vestibular/concussion, and long-term neurological conditions.

About Us:We are a 25-bed, multi-specialty medical clinic and rehabilitation center located in beautiful, rural Craig, CO, just 45 miles west of Steamboat Springs, CO Ski Resort. Our location offers many opportunities for local outdoor recreation, including camping, rafting, paddleboarding, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing.
We provide a range of services, including L4 ED care, inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, laboratory, special care unit, cardiopulmonary, oncology, and chemotherapy services.
Shift and Schedule:We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work days, Monday through Friday, with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and no overtime.
Certifications and Requirements:The ideal candidate will hold a current Colorado Speech Language Pathologist License (DORA) or a valid compact license, as well as current CPR (BLS) certification. A valid driver's license is also required for home health positions.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
- Maintain quality care for all patients through a coordinated, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary approach.
- Assist patients with communication barriers due to speech or language disabilities to enable each individual to reach their maximum level of independence.
- Collaborate with the school-based team to help determine and carry out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide in-home speech therapy services to homebound patients and work in collaboration with the home health interdisciplinary team.

They will maintain patient confidentiality at all times, uphold regulatory requirements, and follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, public, and staff.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
