Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years' experience: Possess a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in vascular technology.
  • Graduate from an accredited school: Hold a degree from an accredited school of vascular technology.
  • Certifications: Meet the certification requirements for vascular technology, as specified by the facility.
  • Physical abilities: Demonstrate the physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Communication and collaboration: Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Patient care: Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Medication administration: Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation.
  • Monitoring and evaluation: Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure, as required.
  • On-call responsibilities: Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, if required.
  • Cleanliness and supply management: Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Patient transportation: Transport patients as needed.
  • Additional duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the facility.

  • Technical skills: Demonstrate the ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment.
