Rasmussen University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Nursing Faculty member to teach in our Nursing program at our Tampa campus. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses in a dynamic and active classroom environment
- Develop and implement curriculum and assessment plans for nursing courses
- Provide student support and outreach to ensure student success
- Participate in faculty meetings and committee work as required
- Complete professional development requirements, including teaching development and development in discipline
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered Nurse
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers
- Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills in the English language
- Active registered nurse license that has never been encumbered
- Active CPR certification administered by the American Heart Association
