Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Procurement and Inventory Management professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Procurement and Vendor Relations functions, including assisting in the procurement of gemstone purchases and developing relationships with existing and potential vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure Gemstones: Assist in the procurement of all gemstone purchases.
  • Manage Vendor Interactions: Help manage day-to-day vendor interactions and develop relationships with existing and potential partners.
  • Evaluate Vendors: Support escalation management and work with vendors who share Brilliant Earth's commitment to responsible sourcing.
  • Maintain Inventory: Coordinate tasks and resources to maintain strong vendor networks and assist with planning and maintaining optimal inventory levels across the gemstone department.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Industry Experience: Industry experience in gems and diamonds required.
  • Vendor Management: Proven experience with vendor management, supply chain operations, or production in a product, retail, or eCommerce environment.
  • Team Management: Experience with team management and the ability to support the growth of high-performing teams.
  • Computer Skills: Robust computer skills with a strong working knowledge of ERP systems and related software.
