We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit at Highpoint Health Sumner. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to elderly patients with complex psychiatric and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care given and monitor patient condition as appropriate.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and provide patient/family education.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
