Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Barrett Petfood Innovations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for processing raw ingredients to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate meat processing equipment to chip frozen meat blocks and mix ingredients together.
  • Add oils as needed to meet customer specifications.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment throughout the shift and at the end of runs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist in the Mill as needed and work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner.
  • Unload shipments and stage product for processing.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to work with a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Basic math skills and computer experience a plus.
