Mixer Operator

Job Summary:

The Mixer Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely production of dry finished powder products and movement of finished, packaging and raw materials. This role requires a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain equipment, including blenders, sifters, magnets, metal detectors, hoppers, and packers

Assist in the production of dry finished powder products, ensuring accuracy and quality

Move finished, packaging and raw materials as needed, utilizing forklifts and other equipment

Perform quality control checks, including metal detector, magnets, sifter checks and scale checks

Maintain accurate records, including computer, sanitation, pre-op and batch tickets

Collaborate with production team members, supervisors and other departments to achieve job goals

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED preferred

0-3 years of manufacturing/production experience desired

Basic math, reading & writing competency required

Ability to operate a forklift truck (sit down, stand up, walkie and hand-jack)

Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted

Valid driver-s license for forklift license
