About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team at Wright Tree Service. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a line clearance crew and planning daily work to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct a team of tree trimming and clearing crew members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work to meet customer and company expectations.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members to ensure effective use of resources and efficient completion of work.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure crew members are aware of and follow safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact crew performance or customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in tree trimming or clearing, with a proven track record of leadership and supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • First-Aid and CPR certification.
  • Herbicide applicator or operator certification and license, as required by local, state, and federal law.
