About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Professional to join our team at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for enhancing documentation and software development process standards
  • Design, code, and modify software to add new features, integrate into new systems, or develop database queries
  • Write software documentation, implement complex database interfaces, and develop algorithms for system performance
  • Assist with test procedures, analyze systems flow, and improve software performance standards
  • Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and recommend new technologies for software projects
  • Lead software development teams, coordinate system installations, and monitor equipment functioning
  • Select software development processes, ensure quality control, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • Advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
  • 15+ years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in software development, systems engineering, and analytics
  • Expertise in new software development, software integration, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of REST-based APIs/services and various frameworks like JavaScript, React, and Angular
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with Linux-based scripting, data mining processes, and application security
  • Proficiency in Agile software development, version control tools, and project management platforms
