- Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
- Assist with the opening and closing of retail store environments, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on Cox products and services.
- Support fellow sales agents to ensure a cohesive and effective sales team.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
- May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.
Cox Communications is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a variable targeted total compensation of $48,628 ($23.38/hr), with high earners reaching an average annual compensation of just over $63,224 ($30.40/hr). Our compensation package also includes a full-time hourly base rate of $16.00 per hour, plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,279. Employees also receive a ramp period of up to 2 months to adjust to commission earnings.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach.
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet customers and demonstrate products and services.
- Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory.
- Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, and/or management.
- One year of experience in a related field, such as sales, retail sales, or service industry.
- Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
- Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
