We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Oak Hill Senior Living. As a Nurse Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide professional assessments and documentation of resident health, assisting with management of assigned nursing units and staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining up-to-date nursing care plans and documenting progress.
- Make daily and periodic resident visits for monitoring and observing physical/mental condition, performing routine nursing procedures as needed.
- Work closely with physicians and families to maintain resident health/mental state, providing emotional support and handling resident complaints or incidents.
- Provide medical record documentation, complete 24-hour reports, end-of-shift reports, shift narcotic counts, and document destruction of outdated/discontinued medications.
- Maintain up-to-date resident medical records.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications, including a valid RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements.
- Thorough understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of Florida.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Passion for caring for people, personal integrity, and ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and stay within Compliance and HIPAA guidelines.
- Knowledge of personal computers, Word, Excel, and office machines such as fax and copying machines.
- Willingness to work every other weekend.
