Freight Specialist

MoveUp Consulting is a leading provider of recruitment services to the moving and storage industry. We are currently seeking a qualified Freight Specialist to join our team.

The Freight Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight, including loading, unloading, and delivering goods to clients. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A valid Driver's License and clean Driving Record are essential, along with knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods. The ideal candidate should have proven work experience in a similar role, with relevant training and/or certifications as a Mover.

Salary: $20-$28 per hour (dependent on experience)

• Loading, packing, and unloading freight with care
• Ensuring no damage occurs during transit
• Wrapping furniture in protective material
• Delivering and setting up furniture inside client homes, as required
• Collecting payments and issuing receipts
• Assisting clients with loading and unloading their luggage
• Adjusting routes to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions
• Regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle
