Job Summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Working with a team to ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and safe for operation
  • Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • ASE certification in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
