Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with patients who require extended hospital care due to chronic or critical illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Degree in respiratory therapy or related field required.
  • Candidates must possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
  • Current state licensure is also required.
