Responsibilities and Impact:

  • The analyst will work closely with other researchers to analyze policy, technology, and trends affecting power and renewable markets.">
  • They will perform research, contribute to written reports, and assist with consulting projects.">
  • Key responsibilities include collecting data, maintaining models, performing research, leading reports, carrying out topical research, delivering insights, participating in project development, and collaborating with energy researchers.">

Compensation:

">

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $74K to $78K. The final base salary will be based on the individual's geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, or an industry-related field required. Graduate degree with quantitative skills strongly preferred.">
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.">
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and navigate a matrix organization.">
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications required (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). PowerBI experience preferred.">
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Julia, SQL, VBA) and/or familiarity with power modeling software (AuroraXMP, other production cost or capacity expansion models) preferred.">
