eXcell is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team onsite in a leading IT managed services specialist. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide unparalleled technical support to multiple stores on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide support on IT / Data problems, track and monitor issues, and provide notes and feedback.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment.
  • Documentation: Document efforts, issues, and resolutions, close cases / tickets daily.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Minimum 1+ years of technical support experience.
  • Operating Systems: Familiar with various operating systems (e.g., Windows OS, OSX, Linux / Unix).
  • Technical Skills: Insight to POS, PC, Printers, Thin Clients, AP's, Servers, Network switch equipment.
  • Cabling and Terminating: Experience desired in copper and fiber cabling and various terminating connectors.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and reporting skills.
  • Physical Demands: Will occasionally work at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided, and must be able to lift 25 lbs.
