About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Psychiatric Aide. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide support to individuals in crisis
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and transferring patients
