Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including orthopedic, neurology, and trauma patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promote patient independence, and facilitate a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
- Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required within 60 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- At least one year of acute care experience; experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred
