Responsibilities- Teach quality classroom, clinical, lab, and simulation courses as assigned.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College of Nursing's mission and goals.
- Contribute to the development of the College's research agenda and participate in scholarly activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising and academic support.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities, including committee work and professional development.
- Doctorate degree relevant to the area of practice (PhD, DNP).
- Active license to practice nursing in the state of Georgia or meet all eligibility requirements to apply for a nursing license in the state of Georgia.
- Board certification in area of specialty.
- Academic teaching experience in didactic and/or clinical instruction.
- Comfort with technology-infused engaging pedagogical strategies, including simulation and other active learning modalities.
- Evidence of contribution to the profession and recognition at the local, regional, or national level.
- Academic rank, tenure status, and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
