Phlebotomy Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomy Representative to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a Phlebotomy Representative, you will be responsible for acting as the liaison between clients, agents, and examiners by answering phone calls, researching questions, and providing timely and accurate responses.

• Research and answer client, agent, and field questions in a timely and accurate manner, including providing specimen requirements, requesting additional tests, and delivering reports.
• Document all calls and submit problem or difficult calls to the manager.
• Coordinate activities between client services, agents, and clients, including scheduling applicants with examiners or at PSC sites and communicating with agents, applicants, and examiners.
• Conduct in-center exams, including taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Collect specimens for pre-employment drug screenings and other Quest Diagnostics services.
• Respond to the needs and requests of clients and Quest Diagnostics management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.
• Observe all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Quest Diagnostics Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred (required in some states).
• Work Experience: Minimum one year customer service experience and one year phlebotomy experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to type 40 wpm, basic computer skills in Microsoft office, and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
