Job Overview

The Evening Project Safety Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting project-specific requirements by ensuring that optimal safety practices are adhered to and compliance with safety regulations is maintained, thereby fostering a robust safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all facets of intricate electrical infrastructure and construction projects to guarantee adherence to OSHA standards.
  • Advise senior management on contractor safety strategies and ensure their effective execution for each project.
  • Conduct reviews and provide oversight of construction Health & Safety management protocols.
  • Participate in safety department meetings, management discussions, training sessions, and daily operational briefings.
  • Manage all subcontractors and contractors to ensure their qualifications and competencies.
  • Continuously promote Health & Safety initiatives aimed at fostering positive safety behaviors across all projects.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction safety, with formal qualifications in health and safety management.
  • Availability to work from 4 PM to 4 AM.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong computer proficiency.

Preferred:

  • Experience in data center projects is advantageous.
  • CHST certification is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a safety-related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience as an Owner's Representative is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70e standards.
