We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our team at Augusta University. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to the advancement of pediatric rheumatology research.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with rheumatic diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric rheumatology, including didactics, clinical supervision, and research mentorship.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in pediatric rheumatology, including study design, data analysis, and publication of results.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees, including quality improvement, education, and research.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
- Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology.
- Eligibility for a Georgia medical license.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Strong research background and publication record in pediatric rheumatology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
