Unit Overview: The 7100 Unit at Akron General is a specialized high-acuity cardiac telemetry and medical/surgical unit. This dynamic environment caters to patients requiring comprehensive assistance with activities of daily living, including those at high risk for falls, and those suffering from conditions such as pneumonia, failure to thrive, confusion, sepsis, and more. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver care in alignment with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice and the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assessments: Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient conditions and respond to significant changes appropriately.
