Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care for patients with cancer, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to infection control protocols and other policies to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in oncology care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Current RN licensure in Tennessee; ACLS certification required within six months of hire
  • Minimum one year of experience in oncology nursing or critical care; BSN-prepared nurses welcome to apply
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care
