Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Runner to join our team at Fairmont Austin. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by providing prompt and efficient food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Assist guests with food and beverage delivery in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure a high level of quality and consistency
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions to make informed recommendations to guests
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods to effectively communicate with guests
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage to maintain a clean and safe environment
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
