Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai West. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in preparing for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, using your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive CT experience (new graduates considered).
  • Excellent technical skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and positioning.
  • New York State License (L.R.T.).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current CT certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
