Deaconess Gateway Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Echo Technician to join our team. As a Travel Echo Technician, you will be responsible for conducting echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Conduct echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures using Philips EPIQ, Philips CVx, or IE33 equipment.
- Operate Epic EMR system to document patient information and imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Float between Gateway, Midtown, and Henderson locations as needed.
- Meet productivity standards of 9 echos per 10-hour shift.
- 1 year of experience in stress echo, TEE, and pediatric echocardiography.
- RDMS certification through ARDMS or RCS certification through CCI.
- Knowledge of Epic EMR, Philips EPIQ, Philips CVx, or IE33 equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 10-hour shifts with a 0630 start time.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Up to 6 weeknights and 2 weekends of on-call per contract.
- 40-mile radius rule applies.
- 3 call-ins will result in contract termination.
- Covid-19 vaccine not required, subject to change.
