CMM Programmer/Inspector

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Inspector to join our team at PDS Tech Commercial. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting precision measurements and inspections of products to ensure compliance with design data requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct precision measurements and inspections of products using CMM and other measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure compliance.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components.
• Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks and verify work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies, and complete unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects, rattles, and loose internal hardware.
• Responsible for First Article Inspections and completes related documentation.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and conduct Preliminary Material Reviews as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience with CMM programming and operation, preferably with PD-DMIS or Calypso.
• Strong mechanical inspection skills, including thread gages, micro-hite, drop indicator, surface indicator, and first article inspection knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and mechanical inspections.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
