Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and document all findings and interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
