OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE
The Sales Relief Specialist/Trainer plays a crucial role in mentoring, training, and enhancing the capabilities of the Sales and Merchandising team. This position is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations and filling in for team members during absences.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate training for all new employees.

• Manage open Sales routes as needed.

• Offer constructive feedback to team members to promote overall development.

• Communicate insights to Management regarding the training processes across all routes.

• Merchandise all products in compliance with company standards within each account.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of inventory to and from the warehouse.

• Conduct periodic resets throughout the year for both Chain and Independent accounts.

• Identify opportunities to enhance sales and brand visibility across all accounts.

• Ensure proper usage and placement of Point of Sale materials.

• Maintain product rotation during merchandising visits in line with company standards.

• Foster positive relationships with owners, managers, and staff at all locations.

• Support Sales routes as necessary based on demand.

• Adhere to all company policies while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

• Complete mandatory training sessions and accurately record work hours.

• Uphold a professional appearance in accordance with company guidelines.

• Consistently practice safe working habits.

• Report any incidents or injuries to supervisors promptly.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience, including:

• Preferred minimum of 1 year in a sales role.

• Valid CDL Class D Driver's License in Mississippi.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations effectively.

• Proven analytical and organizational abilities.

• Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.

• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
