Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Outpatient Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, and promote patient autonomy and self-care.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient needs and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.
- Experience working in a dialysis setting.
- Knowledge of dialysis treatment modalities and patient care practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
