The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical acute unit. As a skilled professional, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, prioritizing patient needs and responding to changes in condition.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of care within the unit.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals about patient clinical conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current (preferred).
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience (preferred).
- Ventilator Management experience (preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
