Job Overview

IERUS Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee critical cybersecurity operations. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of multi-platform classified networks, specifically within Linux and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

The ISSM will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive support to end users, including the installation of operating systems and authorized software.
  • Implementing virus and malware detection solutions.
  • Managing user accounts, including the addition and removal of access as necessary.
  • Overseeing hardware installations and system configurations.
  • Ensuring regular data backups are conducted effectively.
  • Deploying and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) security standards.
  • Addressing and mitigating security risks and compliance issues.
Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following:

  • An Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Experience with NIST SP800-53r4 Risk Management Framework implementation.
  • A minimum of 5 years in IT support, systems administration, or cybersecurity roles.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Prior experience with SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in systems administration across Linux and Windows platforms.
  • U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional credentials that would be advantageous include:

  • CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications.
  • Microsoft Certified System Administrator/Engineer (MCSA/MCSE) certification.
  • Linux Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Engineer.
  • Linux Professional Institute certifications.
  • DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
