Job Overview
Thermo Fisher Scientific is a leading provider of scientific instrumentation and software. We are seeking a skilled Clean Room Assembler to join our team at our Hillsboro campus. This role will involve assembling, aligning, and configuring components for our world-class electron microscopes.

About the Role
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly, preferably in a Clean Room setting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 6S, and continuous improvement processes is an asset.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment. They will collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process. Additionally, they will participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions, assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment, and perform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance. Follow audit and safety guidelines and participate in continuous process improvement.

What We Offer
We offer competitive hourly pay rate: $23/Hr, additional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions, annual performance-based bonus, and annual merit performance-based increase. Estimated salary range: $48,000 - $62,000 per year.
